During the workshop, you will:

Learn how to start a new drawing

Explore the use of different brush tools

Select and apply specific colours

Create brush marks of varying sizes and shapes to represent different textures

Complete a landscape painting using at least three colours and three types of marks

Learn how to import images into your artwork

I will also show you how to save in the app, export your finished piece from the app so you can print or share.

What to bring:You will need to bring your tablet or iPad. If possible, please download ibis Paint beforehand, as this will be the primary app demonstrated. However, if you have another app you prefer, I’m happy to help you with that too.

You do not need a pen/stylus for the workshop, but if you have one please bring it with you.

It would be useful to also have email on you tablet and know how to access it.

PLEASE make sure you know any relevant passwords.

Finally, don't forget your charging cable and plug!

This workshop is perfect for kickstarting your digital art journey or refining your existing skills.

You will also have access to my Student Chatroom where you can post images of your work to share with and get feedback from other students and your tutor after the session.
