Thanks Helen,I think I used watercolour paper, probably gummed for this but as I mentioned I can't get the pink tones of the sepia with latest bottle.You have produced some really good quink pictures.
This is so nice Thea. I love the effect of the ink. I've never been very successful, but I remember that the type of paper you use makes quite a lot of difference to the result as well. So it's no good practicing on different paper from what you intend to use for the final piece.
Unfortunately I received a new bottle of winsor and newton calligraphy ink today and it does not change colour!So I still can not think what ink was used in this picture.
