I really like the soft marks for the tree in contrast to the details on the outfit.The only thing I'm not keen on is the paper texture showing through on the purple of her kimono. Unfortunately, the only way to change that would be to work on a smooth paper and then you would have issues with using watercolour paints.The colours are great, are these colours from the photo or your own choices?

Yes it's using the watercolour pencil that shows the paper texture - I was unsure whether to leave it or wet it.....
The colours are based on the photo but I've changed the shades here & there & haven't introduced anything radically different.
